Sports physical therapy and injury recovery unlike anything you've seen before.

Sports rehab that meets the demands of your sport, delivered through a customized sports physical therapy program and a private, one-on-one experience.

At Game Changer Physical Therapy, "good enough" isn't the goal. As a sports physical therapist, my job is to help you come back stronger, perform better, and feel more confident than ever in your game. Whether you're a high school athlete at Kennewick, Kamiakin, or Southridge, a competitive runner training for Run the River or the Badger Mountain Challenge, or an adult who plays hard on the weekends, you deserve care that's built around you.

My approach to therapy is different and it works. Get back in that all-conference mindset with physical therapy that is just as serious about your recovery as you are.

Life doesn't stop after a sports injury, and neither should you. Get back in the game with personalized, sport-specific treatment that actually addresses the demands of your sport.

Helping athletes recover after:

  • Shoulder pain and injury

  • Rotator cuff strain

  • Impingement

  • Knee pain and injury

  • ACL and PCL tears

  • LCL and MCL tears

  • Meniscus tear and repair

  • Ankle sprains

  • Achilles tendonitis

  • Calf strains

  • Surgery for knee, hip, ankle, shoulder, elbow, foot, back

  • Muscle strains

  • Low back and neck pain

  • Fractures and dislocations

You're an athlete. You need a PT who understands the demands of your sport and truly wants to get you back to playing while decreasing your risk for future injuries.

No one wants to miss practice or games.

No one wants to decline a group run because their body hurts.

No one wants to miss out on a hike because they know they either won’t be able to move the next day or they think their knees can’t handle it.

No pitcher wants to sit out of the starting rotation because their shoulder just couldn’t hold up (again).

Soccer athletes don’t want to just “wing it” when it comes to ACL tear prevention, as this injury can be career-ending.

I get it, and I want to help you get stronger and have a more resilient body so you can do what you love. I know you want to get better. I’ve got you.

Frequently Asked Questions About Sports Physical Therapy

  • Sports physical therapy is physical therapy specifically designed around the demands of sport and athletic activity. Rather than a general rehab approach, everything in your treatment plan, the exercises, the manual techniques, the progressions, is built around what your body needs to do in your sport. The goal isn't just to get you out of pain. It's to get you back to competing, training, and performing at the level you want, with less risk of getting hurt again.

  • No. Washington state allows direct access to physical therapy, which means you can schedule with me without a referral. If you've already seen a doctor and have imaging or a diagnosis, bring that along as it's helpful context. But it's not required to get started.

  • All of them. I work with high school athletes competing for Kennewick, Kamiakin, and Southridge, collegiate athletes, competitive runners training for events like Run the River or the Badger Mountain Challenge, recreational athletes, and weekend warriors who just want to keep doing what they love. If sport and movement matter to you, you're in the right place.

  • I can likely help you, regardless of what sport you are playing. But, specifically, I work with:

    • Soccer athletes

    • Hockey players

    • Baseball and softball athletes

    • Runners

If you don’t see your specific sport here, know that I’m able to extrapolate the demands and needs for athletes in different sports to other sports and have experience working with lacrosse athletes, volleyball players, basketball players, and more.

  • Yes, and honestly this is one of my favorite things to work on. You don't have to wait until something is broken to come see me. If you're dealing with nagging tightness, movement patterns that don't feel right, or you just want to make sure your body can hold up to the demands of your season, that's worth addressing. Catching problems early is always better than rehabbing a full injury later.

  • The approach is built around sport. Every exercise, every progression, and every manual technique I use is chosen with your sport in mind. I'm not just getting you back to walking around pain-free. I'm getting you back to sprinting, cutting, throwing, swinging, or whatever your sport demands. That requires a different level of specificity than general rehab.

  • Sooner than most people think. If something hurts during or after activity, if your performance has dropped and you're not sure why, or if you're coming off a surgery or injury and want to return to sport safely, those are all good reasons to come in. You don't need to be in severe pain to benefit from sports PT.

  • Yes. Post-surgical rehab is a part of what I do. Whether you've had ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, or any other sport-related surgery, I'll work with your surgeon's protocol and build a plan that gets you back to full sport participation as safely and efficiently as possible.
